Bamboo Investor Data Collection System

Bamboo is a web application for collecting investor information and managing submissions through a private dashboard. MongoDB stores the data, while server-side checks control access and prevent repeat submissions.

Workflow

• Applicants complete an investment questionnaire.
• Backend validation permits each user to submit the form only once.
• Submissions retain a status for review and verification.

Admin dashboard

• View totals for all, new, and completed submissions.
• Search and filter submissions.
• Open or close the form and edit system messages.
• Manage administrator credentials.

Technical approach

EJS renders pages on the server, Alpine.js handles lightweight interactions, and TailwindCSS styles the interface. Submission checks run on the backend so the same rules apply regardless of browser behavior.
